Muting on Etsy means that you don't have the ability to participate in the forums in any way. Going further being banned means your shops or buyers accounts are closed.
Muting is easy, they just deactivated my whole shop over a non existant link. It took a month of emails then finally opening a new account to message an admin.
I was told we deactivated you over the link, which I didn't have. Then when I asked for my shop to be reopend- they said no but I could keep the new account.
Which they then deactivated a week later (buyer only account, never got a reason for that one)
I really hate to sound stupid here. But what IS muting anyhow?
